Phillip Daniel - Actor, Producer, Musician

Phillip Daniel has been an avid actor and singer since his childhood when he would entertain his family at their annual talent show. In High School, he began writing music after his uncle gave him an old guitar that had stored in his attic for nearly 10 years. He was hooked, and a year later played an original song for his graduation ceremony in front of an audience of nearly 2000 people. Throughout high school, Phillip was the lead actor in every main stage production, performing in four musicals and seven plays. In addition, he participated in his high school's televised morning announcements and news program, DMTV as an anchor.

In 2001, he moved to New York City to study acting at the New York School of Film and Television. After completing his first year, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a film and TV actor. He was accepted to Chapman University's film program, and completed his bachelor's in Film and Television Production in 2004. Throughout his time at Chapman, Phillip wrote, directed, shot and acted in nearly 20 films.

After graduation, he moved to Ashland, Oregon to assist author, James Twyman with the release and distribution of The Indigo Evolution documentary. After its release, James asked him to come on board as his personal assistant to plan and manage a 64 Day Concert Tour- performing a concert every day to commemorate the Season for Non Violence. For this tour, Phillip self produced his first CD, "The Theory of Life" and was the opening act for James each night.

In 2007, he was asked by the Founder of Feed 333, an organization dedicated to irradicating childhood poverty and hunger to make a music video for his song, "I Wonder Why" in an effort to raise money for their Holiday Donation Drive. The money raised helped to feed over 7,000 children that year.

In 2008, Phillip returned to Los Angeles to delve back into his passion for acting and has spent the past two years building a body of work and taking the first steps in his professional acting career. He has completed 7 films in the past 18 months, several of which can be seen at film festivals throughout the country. He also continues to play music in and around Los Angeles. He passionately believes in the power of art, creativity, and humor--and the positive difference they make in the world.
